We collect information you provide directly: name, contact information, employment and financial history, government-issued identification, bank statements (as required by building HOAs), and any additional information necessary to evaluate a rental application or respond to a tour request. When you visit our website we also collect standard server logs and use cookies to remember your saved searches and improve site performance.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to evaluate rental applications, communicate with you about properties and services, submit HOA application packages on your behalf, process rent payments and maintenance requests, comply with applicable Florida and federal law, and improve our services. We do not sell personal information.
How we share information
We share information with screening service providers, with our maintenance partner Bay Coast Trades for work-order coordination, with property owners when you apply to one of their listings, with the relevant building HOA when you apply to a unit in their building, with our payment processor for rent collection, and as required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties for their marketing.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to the information we hold about you, request corrections, and request deletion subject to legal retention requirements (typically seven years for application and tenancy records). To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@meridianrealtygroup.example.
